It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carole Walker of Heber Springs, Arkansas, born in Newport, Arkansas, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Augustus "Gus" Jowers and Eleanor Parish Jowers; her husband Richard H. Walker; and her brother Jim Jowers, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Hunter Ward (Patty) of Sugar Land, Texas and Jo Anne Wyatt (Adrain) of Heber Springs, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Alex Wyatt (Alysa) of Prairie Grove, Lauren Martin (Brett), Chase Ward (Alex) of Dallas, Texas, Matt Ward of Cabot, Arkansas and Jenny Brown of Key Largo, Florida; her sister-in-law Sissy Jowers of Little Rock, Arkansas; and her nephew Jason Jowers of Vilonia, Arkansas. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
