It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Hammond of Heber Springs, Arkansas, born in Union City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Hammond and Mary Hammond; his wife Martha Meek Hammond; his daughter Ame English; his granddaughter Kristan Rains; and his great grandchild Landon Futrell.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Hammond of Greenbrier, Millie Combs of Westland, Mitzi Compton (Mike) of Thompson Station, Mary Hammond of Heber Springs, Calvin Hammond (Debra) of Heber Springs, Edith Gray (Joseph) of Vilonia, John Hammond (Becky) of Beebe and Robert Hammond of Japan. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren besides other relatives, and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cleburne County Memorial Gardens (8701 State Hwy 110 W, Heber Springs, AR 72543).
