He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Rice and E. E. Rice; and his daughter Kim Beardsley. He is survived by: his wife Lois Rice; his children, Terri Brown (Roger), Michael Rice (Veronica) and Jerry Holmes (Jo); and his grandchildren, Beth Lister (Dan), Daniel Hipp (Angie) and Jay Rice (Allisa). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren 4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
