She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Joseph White and Willie Viola Coker White; her husband William James; and her siblings, Clarence, Clyde, Andy, Harold, Bobby White and Hazel Capehart.
She is survived by: her son Roger Shaw of Kokomo, Indiana; her siblings, Edwin White of California, Allie Meingasner of Missouri, Joyce Crump of Jonesboro and Joan England of Monticello, Arkansas; her nephew Andy White (Kris); her grandchildren, Samatha Biggs and Gary Shaw; and her great grandchildren, Briana Conners, Bryston Shaw, Tasha Biggs, Alex Biggs and Kelsie Leigh Biggs.
