He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Henry Dean, Sr. and Ozell Dean (Singleton); and his siblings, Derl, Donald Dean, Wynetta Bright, Annice Harris and Margie Winter.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Dean (Miller); his sons, Gregory M. Dean (Ann) of Waldorf, Maryland and Christopher A. Dean (Yumiko); his grandson Julian of Layton, Utah.; and his brother Felix Dean Jr..

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sugarloaf Baptist Church (699 Wilburn Rd, Heber Springs, AR 72543). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Egner Cemetery.
