He was predeceased by: his parents, Vlasta and Paul, Sr.; his wife Rosalie Colclasure Marek; his sisters, Evelyn Chlapecka (John), Irene Elam (Bill) and Betty Bednar (Robert); and his daughter-in-law Elizabeth Leigh Fiedler Marek.
He is survived by: his brother Martin Marek (Carolyn); his children, Lori Marek and Doug Marek; his grandchildren, Allie and Paul; and his children, Steve Colclasure (Diane) and Robin McMullen (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
