He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jim King and Allie King (Glick); his wife Doris Vanlandingham King of Hazen; his children, Carl King (Elesha) of Russellville, Alisa Spellman (James) of Cabot and Sandi Carlock (Tony) of Stuttgart; his grandchildren, Amanda Midkiff (Joseph), Sara Schafer (Lee), Christy Watson (Cody), Drake Levey (Lauren), Bryan King, Jared King and Bentley Carlock; his great grandchildren, Vada, Clementine, Koen and Dawson; and his pets, Blu and Bo.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Calvary Missionary Baptist Youth Group.
