He is survived by: his wife Rubye Bernece Sperry; his children, Mona S, Glover of Little Rock, Sherry Beth West of Lonoke and James Edward Sperr; and his grandchildren, Jimmie Glover, Phelps (Gene), Andrea Fought (Richard), Tracy LaFever (Jamey), Jamie Dreher (Jared), Jack and Glover. He is also survived by great-great grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews.
