James Earl Burks Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burks and Selma Burks; his wife Arlene Burks; and his siblings, Pete Burks and Georgana Hunter.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Burks, Jerry Burks, Leila Jo Zimmerman and Eddie Raper; and his grandchildren, Jessica Howard of Jessica Skillern, J. J, Melissa Moody, Nathan Campbell, Robert Raper, Jimmy Raper, Jordan Raper and Holly Wilcox. He is also survived by numerous Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Center Point Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
