She was predeceased by: her father James "Bud" Hester (Charles Mathis). She is survived by: her husband Marvin Reid, Jr.; her children, Andrea Hanks (Neal), Alex Reid (Sydney) and Ashley Clinton (Chris); her grandchildren, Vincent Reid, Adelaide Clinton and Asa Reid; and also Rachel Hester.
