She was predeceased by: her father Alvin; her grandmother Staats Wells; her husband Jimmie Gordon Garrison Sr.; her son Jimmie Garrison Jr.; her brothers, Kenneth Wells, David Wells and Jimmy Wells; and her sisters-in-law, Iras Williams, Patricia Wells and Emily Wells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn (Michael Bird) and Sandy (Timothy Cates). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great- grandchildren.
