He is survived by: his sons, Dale Rainey (Noreen) of Chantilly, Virginia and Cedric Rainey (Betty) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; his daughter-in-law Jackie Rainey of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Mary, Tanika Rainey, Trevis, Travis Rainey and Kristen Moses (Rainey); his siblings, Sammie Lee Rainey and Ora Dee Payne (Atlas); and his siblings-in-law, Rosie Holloway, Viola Garlington, Barbara Byers and Jonas Byers. He is also survived by great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and several close friends.
