Audrey Dale Hillis Obituary
Audrey Dale Hillis was born in Jerusalem, Arkansas on November 23, 1945, a daughter to Ezra Riley and Ethel May (Mooney) Elkins. Audrey passed away on November 12, 2021 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 75.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of the Conway County area. She worked for many years and retired from Levis Strauss in Morrilton, Arkansas. She was Christian and member of Fort Reach Church in Hattieville, Arkansas. Audrey enjoyed attending services, singing, and reading her bible. She liked being outside mowing and tending to her garden. Most importantly, her family and the time she spent with her children, grands, and great-grandchildren meant the most. They were her main focus. She will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.
Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; husband of many wonderful years: Don Hillis; son: Jamie Hillis; brothers: Loyd Elkins and Laymon Elkins; and sisters: Opal Patton and Juanita Graves.
Audrey is survived by her daughter: Elizabeth Hillis of Hattieville, Arkansas; sister: Mary Hillis of Appleton, Arkansas; grandchildren; Denisha, Tara, Jerrica, Justin, LaDonna; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Hillis will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Morrilton, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Fort Reach Church with Bro. Danny Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Lanty Cemetery in Lanty, Arkansas.
