He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Kirkland Dunavant and Ida Ellen Crenshaw Dunavant; and his siblings, Robert L. Dunavant, Ethel Porterfield, Clara Everhart, Fay Melton, Florence Calvert and Willo Dean Garrett.
He is survived by: his wife Araminta Dunavant of Hatfield; his daughters, LaDonna Meador of Hatfield and Twila; his son-in-law Eric Miller of College Station, Texas; and his grandchildren, Courtney Ellen Meador, Samual, Hanna Miller and Alexis Grace Miller (Caleb). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home (2608 US-71, Mena, AR 71953). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel (2608 US-71, Mena, AR 71953).
