With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patti K. Oates (Hatfield, Arkansas), born in Quanah, Texas, who passed away on August 11, 2018 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Beatrice King Nuss and Edmund Nuss. She is survived by: her husband David Oates of Hatfield; her daughter Teri Jones of Roanoke; her brother Michael Nuss of Haslett; her grandchildren, Nathan Jones of Austin, Aaron Jones of Austin, Eli Oates of Austin, Zillie Oates of Austin and Van Oates of Austin; her cousin Susan Burt of Amarillo; her friend Margaret Yoes; and also John Oates of Austin Texas. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.
