She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Tefteller and Nancy Tefteller; her husbands, Claudie Brothers and William Friend, Jr. (Bill); her son Edward Brothers; her great grandchild Thomas Lee Strong; and her siblings, Willie Tefteller and Adell McKenzie.
She is survived by: her son Floyd (Jennifer); her daughters-in-law, Beverly Brothers and Cynthia Sax (Gene); her grandchildren, Chandra Smith (Johnathan), Chantal Strong (Steven) and Mikaela Brothers; her great grandchildren, Maddox, Cailin, Harper, Piper, Charlotte, Edith and Norah Smith; her grandchildren, Jaxon, Lizzy Strong and Ethan Gordon; and her brother Rufus (Pauline).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nola Church of Christ. A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
