He was predeceased by: his father Troy Shelton; his son Michael Proctor; and his brothers, Wayne Shelton, Patrick Shelton, Stanley Shelton and Vaugh Shelton.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Adkins (Cook); his wife Sherry Shelton (Proctor); his children, Matthew Shelton, Toni Shelton and Jennifer Sinor; and his siblings, Jerry Shelton, Mary Flurry and Sherri Tickler. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren.
