It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Clifton in Hartman, Arkansas, born in Clinton, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles D. Mandrell and Esther P. Mandrell (Malone); her husband Francis E. Clifton; her siblings, Loyld Mandrell, James Mandrell, Dorran Mandrell, Charles Mandrell, Gene Mandrell, Ruth Wright, Sis Maychezak, Lucretia Powless and Marie Mandrell; her son-in-law Bill Hallum; and her grandson Adam Braden.
She is survived by: her children, Delmar Clifton (Diane) of Maroa, Illinois, Martin Hitchcock (Tina) of Decatur, Illinois, Jason Clifton (Kaye) of Hartman, Arkansas, Mary Clifton of Maroa, Illinois, Elsie Reed of Urbana, Illinois, Lori Hallum of Hartman, Arkansas, Donita Clifton (Randy) of Maroa, Illinois and Robin Jarvis (James) of DeQuoin, Illinois; and her brothers, Carl Mandrell of Clinton and Richard Mandrell of Clinton, Illinois. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren.
