He was predeceased by: his parents, David Murphy and Elizabeth Murphy; his wife Paula Murphy; and his brothers, Jack and Art Murphy.
He is survived by: his sons, David Murphy (Angie) of Hartford, AR and Paul Longley of Seattle, WA; and his sister Jean Steidham of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous grand children and great-grandchildren.
