He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Leatherman and Helen Leatherman (Briley); and his brother-in-law Richard Flippo. He is survived by: his wife Carol Leatherman; his sister Anna Flippo of Omaha, Arkansas; his children, Nita Hoppis of Oklahoma, Serina Mansfield of Omaha, Arkansas and Billy Leatherman of Little Rock, Arkansas; and his stepsons, Paul Harp (Melissa) of Marble Falls and Franklin Harp (Uriel) of Marble Falls, Arkansas..
