It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Eugene McNew of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur L. McNew and Nellie Mae McNew (McGinnis); and his siblings, Willard G. McNew, Buddy McNew, Nancy Hurst, Anna Elrod, Mildred and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Anna McNew; his sons, Marcus McNew (Caye) and Chris McNew (Mary); and his grandchildren, Kristen Hunsucker (William), Jordan Atwood (Justin), Morgan Melton (Malachi), Kelsey McMillan (Ben), Kate McNew and James Walter McNew. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
