We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, at the age of 95, Veda Mathis of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Carnegie, Oklahoma passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Veda Mathis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Riley and Malinda Turney Harness; her husband Clinton Eugene Mathis; her children, Kimmy Britt and Kevan Eugene Mathis; her great grandchild Ashley Harkrider; and her siblings, Earl Harness, Clifford Harness, Troy Harness, Roy Harness, Perry Harness, James Riley Harness Jr. and Reva Harness.

She is survived by: her great grandchild Kimberly Mathis (Kayla Mondy); and her close friend Jennie Fore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
