He was predeceased by: his parents, Seth Stanton Ruff and Drucilla Coatney Ruff; and his siblings, Delmar Ruff (Lucy) of New Jersey, Ben Ruff (Iva Lou) of Harrison, Danny Ruff (Suzi) of Washington, Nina Crandall (Ralph) of Pennsylvania, Margie Horton, Little Rock, Modean Ray (Wayne) of Alabama and Mattie Ruff.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Carodine Ruff; and his children, Scott Ruff (LaRonda) of Carr Lane and Gina Rose (Rob) of Houma. He is also survived by five grandsons; two granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a great-granddaughter; and a number of nieces and nephews.
