It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sarah Shawnti (Downs) Groves (Harrison, Arkansas), born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 22, 2019, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband David Groves; her daughter Jordan; and her grandparents, Frances, Aaron Downs and Art McAnany.
She is survived by: her former husband Glen Bartels; her stepfather Terry Haney; her siblings, Nick Haney, Jill Shaw and Kyle Haney; her grandmother Nancy McAnany; her aunts and uncles, Kathy Downs, Jean Wright, Donna Taft, Eilleen Rogers, Dennis Downs and Bill McAnany; and her cousins, Stacy Downs-Daniels, Cindy Mazur Kinnie (Downs), Mary Pat Mangiamelli and Michelle Terrell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
Donations in Sarah's memory can be made to the Ozark Humane Society of Harrison or the Jasper Christian Food Room in Jasper, Arkansas.
