He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Thomas and Bertie Emmalee Taylor (Ayers); his wife Abbie Taylor; his daughter Sabra (Joe Quals) of Mtn; his granddaughter Jennifer Gordon of Mtn; his siblings, Pat Parnell and James Taylor; and his stepchildren, James Smith (Dora), Wanda Woods, Roy Lee Smith, Carl Smith (Melissa), Gerena Heater (Doone) and Cynthia Rowland.
