He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Vernon and Edith Roberta Simmons; and his daughter Carol Sands. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Simmons of Harrison; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Robin Simmons of Mountain View; and his stepson James Copeland of Harrison. He is also survived by several grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Holt Memorial Chapel (1904 Capps Rd, Harrison, AR 72601). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Leaf Cemetery (421 Maplewood Rd, Harrison, AR 72601).
