She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Huston and Ruth Jewel Rand (Avery); her son L. D. Powell; and her siblings, Opal Plott, Ed Rand, Bill Rand, Dean Rand and Sarah Sing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home (519 N Spring St, Harrison, AR 72601). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Gass Cemetery.
