He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Elmo and Betty Lou Roberts (Cassity); his brother-in-law Terry Widner; and his grandparents, John Tom, Eliza Ethel Roberts (Holman), Eli and Lottie Cassity (Camp).
He is survived by: his wife Deedera "Deedy" Roberts; his children, Amber Matthews, Shaun Roberts (Jenny), Amanda Wyatt (Tim), Bridget Dobbins and Bryan Arnold; his grandchildren, Mason Matthews, Tyce Pouncil, Kendry Dobbins, Darrian Dobbins and Adrianna Roberts; his siblings, LaVerne Widner, LaVonne Nichols (Dennis), Phillip Roberts (Jannie), Tommy Roberts (Judy) and Bryan Roberts (Laura); his mother-in-law Frances Dixon; and his aunts, Helen Moore (Dwight) and Mona Turner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
