It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Carl Smith of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Jasper, Arkansas, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Ray and Verdine Smith (Ozell Reed); his daughter Laveta Larson; his grandson Justin McCutcheon; his siblings, Gary, Kenneth, Oscar, Barbara, Carolyn and Mildred; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Campbell, Janish and Lorene; and his pet Peaches Marie.
He is survived by: his nieces, Renee and Nadean; his nephew Nick; his wife Kathy Smith; his daughters, Venita (Philip Parttridge) and Sherri (Jason Long); his grandchildren, Brandon, Louie, Logan, Ashlyn, Kynlea and Leam; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Uriah, Aiden "Leroy" and Jayde; his siblings, Sam Smith, Nancy (Jim George), Janis (Harold Freeman) and Susie (Ricky Smith); and his siblings-in-law, Wesley Sparks, Joey White, Dairl Campbell, Frances and Jackie Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
