It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavonia Amos of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Dardanelle, Arkansas, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock R. Wood and Nancy Bowman Wood; her husband Glenn R. Amos; and her siblings, Don L. Wood, Jane Wood Sanders and Ruby Wood Page.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Gordon of Harrison, Janice Carolyn Gapasin (Jim) and Richard Amos of LaVerne; and her siblings, Bob R. Wood and Lena Bates. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
