We bid farewell to Joyce Elaine Sherman of Harrison, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Joyce Elaine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Albina Smith; her husband Harold Sherman; her siblings, Duane Smith, Ronald Smith and Sharon Johnson; and her great grandchild Eva Rose Sherman.
She is survived by: her son Duane Sherman (Gail) of Willard, Missouri; her grandchildren, Allison Redman, Bret Sherman, Austin Sherman (Lizzie), Jenny Sare and Callie Sare; her siblings, Thomas Smith (Faye Bopp) of Michigan, Jerry Smith (Arlene) of Florida and Maxine Farmer of New Jersey; and her brother-in-law Dr. Carroll Sherman (Diana) of Texas. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (1100 W Bower Ave, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Maplewood Cemetery (1419 Maplewood Rd, Harrison, AR 72601).
Memorials may be made in Joyce's honor to First United Methodist Church.
