With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy A Rice of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Tilly, Arkansas, who passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Ruff and Etter Ruff (Bridges); her husbands, Houston Brewer and Gene Rice; her siblings, Jerald Ruff and Polly Morehouse; and her grandson Shawn Brewer.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Shaddox and Clyde Brewer; her brother EJ Ruff; and her grandchildren, Robbert Shaddox, Justin Shaddox, Stephanie Welch, Tiffany Fitch and Ben Brewer. She is also survived by many great grandchildren and other family and friends.
