He was predeceased by: his parents, Darious "Buster" Wilson and Beulah Faye Wilson (Sims); his son Joe Thomas Wilson; and his siblings, Tom Wilson and Josephine Wilson.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty A. Barrett; his wife Jayne Wilson; his children, Sam Wilson (Amy), Tim Wilson (Merri), James Douglas Wilson (Cynthia), Judy Wilson and Janis Miller (Eric); his granddaughters, Audrey Frisby (Tyler), Ashton Wilson, Theresa Wilson, Andi Wilson, Sarah Miller and Kasi Miller Roberts (Vincent); his great grandchildren, Theo Frisby and Mila Roberts; and his daughter-in-law Jetty Wilson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
