He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harve and Talma Marylou Hendrix (Hallum); his wife Violet Reddell; his son James Hendrix; his siblings, Cova Ward, Frankie McEwen, Leeza Sisco, Lois Garner and Albert Hendrix; and his former spouse Imalee Cowick.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Hendrix (Marlene) of Ukiah, California, Joy Hendrix, Berdie Horn of Kerman, California, Betty Henson of Ward and Lillian Walters of Clovis, California; his children, Jon Hendrix (Patty) of Harrison, Louise Flowers of Boise and Kathy Bush (Randy) of Poteau, Oklahoma; his daughter-in-law Connie Hendrix of Arkadelphia; his grandchildren, Mike Flowers (Jenny), Bobby Flowers of Boise, Idaho, Jamie Hagan of St. Petersburg, Florida, Jackie Gass of Raleigh-Durham, Jason Gass of Columbia, Clay Hendrix, Amy Curtis (Bryan) of Harrison, Toby Hendrix (Laura) of Overland Park, Kansas and Kara Mitchell of Bentonville; and his great grandchildren, Devin, David Holbrock, Faith, Violet Hendrix, Madison, Emily Gass, Skylar, Aidan Gass, Max, Sam Flowers, Will, Walker Curtis, Adeline, Lily, Vincent, Elias and Evelyn Hendrix. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and many friends.
