She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy David and Sue Curtis (Blackburn); her husband Joseph Sams; and her children, John Sams and Evelyn Phelps.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Thomas Bramley). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
