He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Eugene and Blanche Geary Cockrum; his wife Norma Jean Howard; and his children, William, Pete and Lillian Cockrum.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Faulkner of Harrison, June Lee (Jim) of Harrison, George Cockrum (Bee) of Sycamore, Charlie Cockrum (Tina) of Diamond City and Judy Faulkner (Billy Ray) of Rockford, Illinois; his sister-in-law Mary Belle Marden of Harrison; and his caregiver Tina Cockrum. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holt Memorial Chapel (1904 Capps Rd, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Free Union Cemetery.
