With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gale Lee McClellan of Harrison, Arkansas, born in West Plains, Missouri, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chalmer and Inis Young McClellan; his brothers, Billy Joe and Ronald Gene McClellan; and his brother-in-law Bud Hendricks.
He is survived by: his daughter Vedra Sue Downen (Jacob Schmitt) of West Plains, Missouri; his grandchildren, Adam Schmitt, Rayney Cheyenne Conerly and Fay Schmitt; and his siblings, Jessie McClellan (Glenda) of Harrison, Donnie McClellan (Alice) of West Plains, Jerry McClellan (Gayla) of West Plains, Barbara Hendricks of West Plains and Betty Deweese of West Plains. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
