He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Schwanz (Fritz) and Bette Schwanz; his wife Linda; his children, Tim Schwanz and Catherine Carnes (Brian); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Schwanz (Kenzie), Sierra Schwanz, Zachary Carnes (Lauren) and Nicole Carnes; and his siblings, Robert Schwanz (Judy), Lynn Kraklau (Larry), Sue Winscher, Karen Schwanz and Barbie Kefer (Mike). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
