She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Jesse "Arthur" Thorn and Mattie "Jimmie" Thorn (Taylor); her grandson Jared Moore; her son-in-law Richard Chaney; and her siblings, Jesse Rice, C. C. Thorne, Carl Thorne, Ruby Bell, Buelos Thorne, Paul Thorne, William Thorne and Harold Thorne.
She is survived by: her husband John "Fred" Farmer; her children, Sharon Chaney, Katherine Tyler (Steven), Glenn Farmer (Michelle), Freda Trowbridge (Eddie), Marlene Moore (Richard), Greg Farmer (Tina), Velma Snowden (Jeff) and Minta DeVore (Troy); her brother Dale Thorne (Charlene); her sister-in-law Helen Tilton; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Rick, Jonathan, Lacy, Glenna, Samantha, Eric, Tori, Grant, Brett, Kourtnie, Cami, Jonna, Emily and Noah. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; and a host of extended relatives and dear friends.
