He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy Patton and Nettie Patton (Moore); his wife Murlaine; and his siblings, Edith Embry, Oman Patton, Oren Patton, Bert Patton, Charlie Patton and James Patton.
He is survived by: his son Donny Gene Patton.
