He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Hatch and Florence Hatch; his wives, Shirley Ann Rodgers Hatch and Norma Cordell Hatch; and his brother Howard Hatch Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Jean Berry (Alan); his granddaughter Sabrina Berry Carter (Bailey); his great grandchild Brinley Carter; and his niece Kathy Hatch Kelley.
