He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H. Person and Lou Person (Joyner); and his son Gary. He is survived by: his wife Edith Ann Person; his son Ricky Dornak (Eva); and his grandchildren, Dewey, Jason and Amanda (Mike). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
