He was predeceased by: his mother Charlene McEntire (Phillips); his son Terry Dale McEntire; and his brother David Lee McEntire. He is survived by: his father Doyle McEntire; and his siblings, Michael McEntire (Rita), Stephen McEntire (Shannon) and Shelly Lockhart (James). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
