She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Flippo and Maxine Flippo; and her brother-in-law Frank Mathis. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Staggs; and her sisters, Janet Mathis, Patricia (Don Wray) and Connie (Don Trublood). She is also survived by many in-laws; a large extended family.
