He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vines and Dorothy Vines (Hays); and his sister Rhonda Bell. He is survived by: his wife Georgia; his daughter Charlotte Vines Best of Harrison; his brothers, John Vines of Huntsville and Frank Vines of Alma; and his grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Best. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
