He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edwards and Nerva Jane Edwards (Cheatham); his wife Mildred Ruth Edwards; and his siblings, Herbert, Frank, John, Sybil, Ineva, Geneva and Elsie June.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin; his son-in-law Randy Cooper; his granddaughter Michaela Cooper; his sister Virgie Edwards Patterson; and his sister-in-law Freda McCutcheon Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
