With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carvill Fitzhugh Jr. of Harrison, Arkansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carvill left this world on July 8, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. Carvill Fitzhugh and Evelyn Fitzhugh; his sister Carol (David); and his great grandchild Alexis Renee Abel. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Lavender of Harrison, Arkansas; his children, Cynthia Abel (Robert), Jennifer Smith (Robert) and Bill Fitzhugh of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his grandchildren, David Abel, Caleb Smith, Rachel Abel, Shelby Abel and Camryn Smith; and his sister Anne Reintges of North Carolina.
Carvill requested that his defibrillator/pacemaker be donated to the local veterinary hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to St. John's Episcopal Church or to your local humane society.
