It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Ray Chappell of Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha "Shorty" Reese and Troy Chappell; his stepfather Leonard Reece; his brothers, Eddie Chappell and Larry Joe Chappell; and his son Douglas Chappell.
He is survived by: his wife Dorise Chappell; and his children, Larry Chappell of Prairie Grove, Melissa Shook of Broken Arrow, John of Fayetteville, Arkansas. and Eric McMillan of Fayetteville, Arkansas.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
