He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Grover Tyler and Edna Rosa Lu Tyler (Mcgraw); his sons, Aaron Tyler and Brian Tyler; his siblings, Richard Tyler and Linda Sue Tyler; and his grandson Christian Tyler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Tyler of Harrison; his son Mark Tyler (Beth); and his siblings, Jerry Tyler of Oregon and Charlotte Ann Turner of Texas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and many other family and friends.
