He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer D. Blevins and Lexa Blevins (Abel); and his siblings, Faola Jackson, Kirby Blevins, Milford Blevins, Frank Blevins and Mary Lou Raley.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Blevins (Taylor); his children, Linda Pledger (Jerry) of Harrison, Sandra Todd (Eddie) of Harrison and Eric Blevins (Angie) of Harrison; his grandchildren, Kelsey Gregory (Todd), Cara Marino (Martin), Dustin Blevins (Ashley), Drew Todd and Ashley Wright (Blake); his great grandchildren, Kylah Gregory, Benson Blevins, Easton Blevins and Adelina Marino; and his sister Wilma Williams (Manly) of Moundsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Christeson Funeral Home (519 N Spring St, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Eagle Heights Baptist Church (703 E Walters Ave, Harrison, AR 72601).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to either York Cemetery, P. O. Box 322, Bergman, Arkansas 72615 or North Arkansas College Foundation Scholarship Fund in memory of Billie Joe Blevins for Construction Equipment Operation, 1515 Pioneer Drive, Harrison, Arkansas 72601.
